MEMORIAL WEEKEND PROGRAMME 2020

In the interests of safeguarding our more at risk and vulnerable members, we have taken the difficult decision to cancel a number of our planned activities for Memorial Weekend. We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment this causes and look forward to seeing you all next year.  For anyone still planning on travelling, please see below for details of outdoor activities which we may still be able to go ahead with. This lovely old private library holds the Tangye Archives on behalf of Derek and Jeannie's Trustees.

This exhibition is 'Newlyn School Interiors' - anyone wishing to visit this exhibition does so at their own risk. Please take all sensible precautions with regards to handwashing etc to minimise the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 (or any other communicable illnesses!)

To be held in our usual meeting room with display of Tangye Memorabilia in the Reading Room.  Tangye Corner, Raffle, Auction and free Cream Tea for members.  We need to know if you are attending to ensure an order is placed with the hotel, so members please complete and return your booking form to Jane Jackson by the date shown. (Booking form included with latest issue of Wavelength now with members).

WALK TO OLIVER LAND

OLIVER LAND

 Meeting place, parking and lunch re the walk to be advised at the AGM.  Please wear suitable clothing and footwear as there is a stream to cross. Please note that following the prolonged heavy rainfall of recent weeks, the ground is treacherous in places. Anyone wishing to complete the walk does so at their own risk.  There will be no lunch facilities after the walk so those wishing to do the walk will need to provide their own lunches.

To meet outside the train/bus station. PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT MUST BE PRE-BOOKED WITH JANE JACKSON IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND.

 We look forward to meeting old friends and new at this year's events.  If you have been before, you know what to expect.  If you haven't joined us before, please don't be put off about not knowing anyone before you arrive.  It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and you will almost certainly leave having made numerous new friends.
